A Traverse City man was arrested in Bear Lake Township Saturday evening for possession methamphetamine.
A trooper from the Michigan State Police Cadillac post stopped a vehicle driven by 41-year-old Jackson Mackey around 6:30 p.m. Saturday on 13 Mile Road for speeding. According to MSP, Mackey was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and was placed under arrest and lodged in the Manistee County Jail.
Mackey was arraigned in Manistee County on Monday on one count possession methamphetamine, second or subsequent offense.
His next scheduled court appearance is on Oct. 13.
