NMVC Announces One-On-One Personal Assistance Events This October
The Northern Michigan Veteran’s Coalition have announced virtual events through their Virtual-Veterans Experience Action Center (V-VEAC) this October.
They say individuals can sign up for one-on-one personalized assistance to help individuals better understand and access their with veteran benefits and services they have earned.
The partial list of services available includes:
- VA Benefits (file a new claim or check the status of an existing claim or appeal)
- VA Healthcare (eligibility and enrollment, schedule appointments, prescriptions, community care)
- Crisis Resources (homelessness, mental health, financial)
The NMVC says when registering, individuals will have the option to schedule the virtual appointment day/time, which best fits your availability.
They say all Michigan Veterans, service members, caregivers, and survivors are eligible, welcome and highly encouraged to participate in both events.
The NMVC says the events will take place on October 19-21 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and those interested should register for the V-VEAC by October 17th.
