A man who admitted to killing his ex-girlfriend in Wexford County will spend decades behind bars.
A judge sentenced Alex Mesler to between 55-90 years in prison. Mesler pleaded guilty to second degree murder just days before his trial was set to begin. A charge of first degree murder was dropped.
Mesler pleaded guilty to killing Angela Admasian at her home in Buckley in June 2020.
According to the county prosecutor, it was Mesler’s fourth habitual offense and second against Admasian.
