Officials Investigating Deadly Train Crash In Montana

Federal safety investigators and Amtrak officials in Montana are trying to determine what caused a train to derail.

Two locomotives were pulling ten cars from Chicago to Seattle when they derailed near the town of Joplin.

160 people were onboard. Three people are dead and dozens more are hurt.

First responders and locals from several nearby communities raced to the area to help.

Most of the injured had been taken to area hospitals.

About 60 passengers spent the night at a local high school, and many have been bussed out.
