For the Community, By the Community Podcast: Northwest Michigan Toys for Tots

The Christmas season will be here before we know it – and there’s one nonprofit in our area already working to make sure every child has a merry Christmas.

The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and give those toys to kids in need as Christmas gifts.

Northwest Michigan Toys for Tots serves Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Antrim, Kalkaska and Benzie counties. This month, we are talking to Mike Kent, a board member for Toys for Tots.
