The Mecosta County Sheriff Needs Help Identifying Two Drivers Involved In A Serious Injury Crash

Deputies from the Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office were called to a single vehicle crash on 13 Mile Rd. and 190th Ave. in Mecosta Township on Sunday.

Deputies say a Ford F-150 was driving east on 13 Mile at high speeds. They say the driver lost control, ran off the roadway and hit a tree.

The driver left the scene, leaving his passenger pinned in the vehicle.

Witnesses say the driver of the F-150 was picked up by another vehicle, that appeared to be following the F-150.

We’re told the second vehicle was described as a white Buick SUV with a female driver.

Deputies checked local hospitals for the driver, but they were not found.

The passenger left behind was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.

The Mecosta County Sheriff’s is asking for help identifying the driver of the F-150 and the white Buick SUV.
