Ludington High School Placed On Lockdown Friday

The Ludington Police Department says Ludington High School was placed into lockdown around 8:30 Friday morning.

Police say the Ludington Public School Administration received information in reference to a possible weapon at the high school.

They say Ludington Police Department School Resource Officers were at the school, and officers were able to quickly determine that there was no weapon.

Police say the school was on lockdown for about 15 minutes, and no one was injured.

The Ludington Police Department says this incident remains under investigation.
