TC Commission To Discuss Complaint Against City Manager

Traverse City Commissioners will be going into a special, closed session next week to discuss a complaint against the city manager.

In a memo to the city commission, the city attorney says they’ll need to consider possible disciplinary action against Marty Colburn.

The memo does not specify the details of the complaint against him.

Earlier this month, Colburn fired the city treasurer, and commissioners authorized that decision this week.

They also granted a 3% pay raise for Colburn at that same Monday night meeting.
