Soo Pilots Association Hosting “Open House And Movie In A Hangar” Night

If you’re in Sault Ste. Marie Friday and are looking for something to do with the kids, look no further.

You can watch a movie on a big screen in an airplane hangar.

The Soo Pilots Association is holding their annual “Open House and Movie in a Hangar” night at Sanderson Field.

The featured movie is “Scoob.”

Local law enforcement and first responders will even be there before the movie to show off their equipment.

“Actually it has been very positive and that is why we continue to do it,” said Tom Brown, an Airport Manager at Sanderson Field. “Kids have an opportunity to look at airplanes up close, see what makes them tick, why do they fly, questions are answered and asked. It’s just a good experience all around.”

It’s five dollars a person and you’ll be able to buy drinks and snacks there.
