All across Michigan this week, you’ll see law enforcement agencies on the run.
It’s the Torch Run to raise money for the Special Olympics of Michigan.
On Wednesday night, agencies from Garrish Township held their 5k in Higgins Lake. They have been participating in the Torch Run for the last ten years.
Community members, Special Olympic athletes, law enforcement officers and cadets all ran while keeping in mind the good cause they’re running for.
After the race, runners enjoyed a cookout at South Higgins Lake State Park.
