Northern Michigan Schools Delaying Dismissal Due To Severe Weather
Due to severe storms moving through the area, Clare Public Schools and Farwell Public Schools will be delaying student dismissal.
Clare Public Schools says they are sheltering in place at this time, and will release students as soon as it is safe.
Farwell Public Schools says students will not be released from school until 3:30 p.m., and CTE students are safe at the Magnus Center but are unable to return to school.

UPDATE (3:02 PM): Clare Public Schools says they are about 10-15 minutes behind schedule.
UPDATE (3:05 PM): Evart Police Department says Evart Public Schools is not releasing students that walk home or ride the bus. Police say parents can pick up their students, but say that if they do not have to go out to stay home. They also say multiple trees and power lines are down in the city.
