Celebrating Volunteerism at United Way of Northwest Michigan, September 9

United Way of Northwest Michigan is kicking off September by celebrating their community volunteers! They have logged over 2,000 service hours during the pandemic. So, this month they areTie Due giving back with a giant volunteer celebration party. The Color Splash is a fun tie-dyeing event that will be held outdoors on September 9 at Medalie Park in Grand Traverse County, from 3-6 pm. They will provide the shirt, the tie-dye, and the instructions. You’ll leave with an awesome shirt to wear for your Day of Caring events, on September 16.

Day of Caring is their largest single-day volunteering event in the area. All of their projects that still need to be adopted can be found on their Volunteer Center website.
