Walloon Lake Village is celebrating their year-long Hemingway Homecoming over Labor Day Weekend, and you can join them in celebration of Ernest Hemingway and Hadley Richardson’s 100th wedding anniversary. Eat and drink like Hemingway with a special menu and cocktails from Pinehurst Inn, and you’ll also have chances to win unique items and experiences including a tour of Windemere Cottage.
Visit the Petoskey Area over Labor Day Weekend and check out the Boyne City Kiwanis Car Show, held annually on the holiday weekend. Preview night is Friday during the last “Stroll the Streets” of the season with the car show taking place on Saturday on the shores of Lake Charlevoix. It’s a fun weekend to visit a great town with great cars, supporting a great cause, with proceeds benefiting the youth of the Boyne City area.
