People still have two days to vote for the in the nation-wide State Farm grant competition. If awarded, the money would be used to help the nonprofit start their journey to getting an integrated wellness facility, according to Diane Tracy, President of Board of Directors for Benzie Aquatic Center.
Benzie Aquatic Center has to finish in the top forty to be awarded one of the $25,000 grants. They are currently in 57th place. If awarded the grant, it would help the nonprofit begin phase two of the process.
Benzie Aquatic Center says some of their current facilities being considered are multiple pools, including a warm water ramped program, exercise & fitness facilities, drop-in child watch, and more.
