Brewvine: Nature, Community and Craft at Workshop Brewing Company
Nature. Community. Craft.
That’s what guides Workshop Brewing Company in Traverse City.
By the end of the year, they’re hoping to add another location to the Workshop community.
Whitney Amann and photojournalist Jeremy Erickson talk to the brewery about the expansion in this week’s Brewvine.
“There is a lot of potential out there and it’s a community that’s growing so we want to be a part of that growth and be a positive piece of that community that’s being built,” said head brewer Michael Wooster.
Sometime around the end of 2021, this print shop will become a new workshop.
Workshop Brewing Company is planning to turn the site into a great community gathering spot.
The brewery’s new branch will have a large outdoor space and all of the other things workshop brewing is known for.
In addition to their staple beers, they plan on putting in a smaller brewing system at the new location to make some limited releases for the brewery.
“We will be able to do a little bit more experimentation,” said Wooster.
Until the Kinsley brewery opens, you can hang on to what’s left of summer with a brew from their Traverse City location.
