On the latest episode of the MISportsNow Podcast, our guest is Farwell native and former Ferris State golfer Emily Rohdy.
As a freshman in 2007, Rohdy and a small group of girls founded the girls golf program at Farwell High School after petitioning the school board to start a team.
Rohdy then took her talents to Ferris State in 2010 to play for the women’s golf team. She graduated from Ferris State in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a concentration in Professional Golf Management.
After college she worked at several golf courses including Midland Country Club, Vail Golf Club, Pilgrims Run Golf Club, Kent Country Club and Railside Golf Club.
Rohdy is currently the head golf professional at in Mt. Pleasant.
