Adopt-A-Pet Tuesday: Champ, Mona, Matilda & Buttons

It’s Adopt-A-Pet Tuesday on Michigan This Morning!

This week we have Champ, Mona, Matilda and Buttons—just four of Northern Michigan’s many great, adoptable animals waiting for a loving family to take them home.

First up meet Champ and Mona.

These chihuahuas are brother and sister and can’t be separated.

They’re 12 years old, so they’re looking for a loving forever home to live out their golden years.

Even though Champ and Mona are senior dogs, they enjoying running around outside and playing together.

This duo also loves a good nap and are willing to take a snooze on anyone’s lap.

You can meet them at the Cherryland Humane Society in Traverse City.

Next we have an English bulldog named Matilda.

She’s six years old and can be described as friendly and a couch potato.

Matilda doesn’t really like going on walks, but she enjoys going for rides in her wagon.

She gets along with everybody and everything, even cats.

You can find Matilda at the Great Lakes Humane Society in Traverse City.

Lastly we have an adorable domestic shorthair kitten named Buttons.

Her markings almost look like tiger stripes.

Buttons loves kids and is very friendly, affectionate and playful.

She would do great in any home.

You can meet Buttons at One Love Rescue in Houghton Lake.

Tune in to MTM each Tuesday at 5:20 a.m. and 8:50 a.m. for more lovable Northern Michigan pets in search of families of their own!
