The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office was called to a single vehicle rollover crash early Saturday morning.
Deputies say it happened on Old 131 near 2 Mile road in Richmond Township.
Old 131 was closed down for about six hours while Reed City Fire Rescue pulled the driver and passenger from the vehicle.
The witness who called 911 says the vehicle rolled several times, slid off the road and landed in a ditch before catching fire.
Both the driver and passenger are from Hersey and were taken to the Reed City Spectrum Health Hospital for life threatening injuries and then transferred to a Grand Rapids Hospital where they are listed in critical condition.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but deputies believe speed and alcohol are believed to be a factor in the crash.
