Georgia Man Who Stabbed Officer Outside Pentagon Had Criminal Past

Although police still don’t have a motive, more information is emerging about the Georgia man who killed an officer and himself outside the Pentagon.

Federal investigators are searching through his criminal background for a reason behind the attack.

They say Austin William Lanz was arrested in the past for breaking into a neighbor’s home.

Investigators also say he also harassed someone for months with sexually explicit photos and messages.

The still have not uncovered the reason why Lanz ambushed Officer George Gonzalez on a bus platform outside the Pentagon.

He stabbed and killed Gonzalez before being shot and killing himself.
