Brewvine: Hop Lot Brewing Company

For this week’s Brewvine, Whitney Amann and photojournalist Jeremy Erickson takes us to Hop Lot Brewing Company where you can spend exploring the property, eating amazing food and enjoying their hand crafted beer.

You’ll enjoy more than just being outside while you’re here.

The food menu at Hop Lot is a bit smaller than previous years but it’s packed full of flavor, with fresh options like their burrito bowl and their Smokey sandwiches.

“Our intention is to serve, you know, a very good product that we make here from the beer to the food, and we take it all serious. So even though our menu is more consolidated, the quality is extremely high and we’re really proud of the things that we do serve,” said Steve Lutke, Hop Lot Co-Founder. “You’re outside, you’re sitting amongst nature. It’s the perfect setting for a barbecue.”

You’ll also find the perfect pint to pair with your picnic.

Hop Lot has great summer options on tap like their hazy IPA called “Hazin’ The Trail,” session IPA called “Uncle Green Guy,” or try  “The Belgian” which is their version of a golden strong ale.

Hop Lot Brewing Company is a great place to enjoy the outdoors, great food, and a beer or two with family and friends this summer.
