Kiersten’s Ride: A Local Non-Profit Dedicated To Healing Through Suicide Awareness & Prevention Programs
When someone dies by suicide, like any cause of death, the loss is felt by many.
A local non-profit organization called Kiersten’s Ride is helping people heal through suicide prevention programs in Northern Michigan. The organization also raises awareness on suicide education so that future acts of suicide are prevented.
Kiersten’s Ride provides many training programs and grief support groups to ensure that no one is ever alone through a difficult time. Help is ALWAYS available, and this group of people is dedicated to the healing process. Their website has plenty of helpful links, videos, training programs, grief support groups, and warning signs to look out for.
Every third Saturday in August, the local non-profit hosts an annual event to fundraise and raise awareness. Click HERE to register or sponsor the event.
