Michigan Health Officials Report 1,762 New Coronavirus Cases, 19 Deaths
Michigan health officials are reporting 1,762 new coronavirus cases and 19 additional deaths since Friday.
In total, Michigan has had 901,683 confirmed coronavirus cases and 19,902 total confirmed COVID-related deaths.
Tuesday’s daily case count represents new referrals of confirmed cases to the MDHHS since the last web update report. Over the four days (Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday), the average number of new confirmed cases is 441 per day.
The deaths announced Tuesday includes 15 deaths identified during a vital records review.
As of July 27, 872,163 Michiganders have recovered from the coronavirus.
MDHHS is only updating coronavirus data every Tuesday and Friday.
