Traverse City’s 8th Street Closed for Bridge Work

Another bridge repair is underway in Traverse City. Work on the 8th Street Bridge started Monday morning.

That puts a stop to traffic crossing 8th at Boardman – near the Governmental Center. It will affect commuters and visitors already impacted by other bridge work in the area, including projects on Cass Street and Park Street.

Meanwhile a bridge overhaul on West Front Street will start after Labor Day, and is expected to last until July of 2022.
