Tornado Cleanup In Lower Michigan Is Underway

Tornado clean-up is underway downstate after several hit the lower region over the weekend.

The tornados struck near Detroit and Flint on Saturday evening.

The National Weather Service says two EF-1 tornadoes touched down in Genesee County’s Clayton Township around 6:30 p.m. Then in Oakland County around 7:45 p.m.

Damage from both storms were consistent with winds of 100 mph.

Nobody was reported to be injured and many areas are still without power.
