Michigan Residents & EGLE Developing MI Healthy Climate Plan

The Council on Climate Solutions will meet on Tuesday, and will meet once a month through December.

The council’s goal is to develop a plan to make Michigan carbon neutral by 2050.

It is made up of 14 state residents appointed by Governor Whitmer, as well as representatives from the state department and the head of EGLE.

EGLE says they want to create a plan that is effective and equitable for all.

The council will advise EGLE to form the MI Healthy Climate Plan.
