Bay Harbor Brings Back Art Festival for 2021

Bay Harbor has brought back their art festival this year after it’s cancellation in 2020 due to COVID.

Taking place on the shoreline of Lake Michigan, artists began setting up their exhibits earlier today with hopes of impressing those in attendance.

Friday is what they call the preview night where patrons can explore and enjoy live music from Katherine Ryan. With restaurants nearby, there’s also plenty of opportunity to catch a bite to eat.

Marketing Manager for Bay Harbor, Michelle Denise said about 75 artists have shown up from around the Midwest to set up their exhibits with a variety of different art styles. “We have painting, ceramics, sculpture, metal, wood, jewelry, so we have something for everyone,” she said.

The festival will finish up on Saturday, ending at 6 p.m. after prizes have been awarded to the top three voted artists.
