McLaren Northern Michigan’s Grand Opening Celebration
McLaren Northern Michigan will hold two ribbon cutting ceremonies on August 6 for their newest additions.
The new additions were made possible by two key donors: The Offield Family, and Martin and Lisa Sutter.
After three years of planning and construction, McLaren is opening its new wing called the Offield Family Pavilion.
The new wing is being named after Harbor Spring residents, Jim and Sujo Offield, for being a supporter of McLaren since it originally opened.
The new four-story, 182,000 square foot wing features a new main entrance with a grand lobby, state-of-the-art operating room suites with 4k technology, private patient rooms, a new expanded ICU, new cardiovascular unit, and a new orthopedic surgical unit.
The north pavilion entrance is being dedicated to the Sutter’s for their generous support of McLaren and the Building of the Future of Health Care project.
The ribbon cutting ceremony for the Martin and Lisa Sutter North Pavilion and the Offield Family Pavilion will begin at 2:15 p.m.
The ceremony can be viewed live on the 9and10 News Plus Channel on the free VUit App.
