Second Round of ‘MI Shot To Win Sweepstakes’ Winners Announced On Wednesday

Governor Gretchen Whitmer will announce the second round of winners in the “MI Shot To Win Sweepstakes” on Wednesday, July 21 at 10:30 a.m.

Gov. Whitmer will be joined by Highland Park native and former Saturday Night Live star, Tim Meadows during the virtual news conference this week.

Three winners will be announced during the event, including the winner of the $1 million prize and two $50,000 winners.

The MI Shot To Win Sweepstakes giveaway includes $5 million in total prizes, including 30 daily prizes of $50,000, a $1 million prize and a $2 million prize.

Over 90,000 young Michigan residents signed up for the college scholarship drawing.

As of Monday, July 19, the MI Shot To Win Sweepstakes has received a total of 2 million applicants for the grand prizes since it began on July 1.

Also as of Monday, July 19, 62.78% of Michigan residents 16 and older – a total of 5,075,104 of the state’s residents – have received at least their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination.
