Falmouth Prepares to Celebrate Turning 150
The community of Falmouth is getting ready to celebrate turning 150 this weekend.
They’ll host a carnival, picnic and live music on Saturday night, along with a fireworks show.
Sunday will feature an outdoor church service.
Steve Ebels has lived in Falmouth his entire life and says they hope the weekend shows why the community has been home to families for generations.
“There are just a lot of solid families that have been here for generations, especially in the farming community, and they contribute to the community because they recognize their responsibility in keeping the community alive and going,” said Ebels.
All events in Falmouth are open to the public.
