White House Negotiators Meet With Senators On Infrastructure

The Biden administration is looking to find a compromise on the president’s infrastructure proposal.

On Tuesday, White House negotiators met with senators on Capitol Hill about their bipartisan infrastructure bill.

21 senators now support the $1.2 trillion bipartisan proposal.

Biden says he’s encouraged by the talks, but both sides still remain at odds over how to pay for the plan.

At the same time, Senate Democrats are also working on a second possible way to pass an infrastructure bill.

The process, known as reconciliation, would only need a simple majority to pass.
