Traverse City Country Club Partners with Eagles for Children

The Traverse City Country Club recently announced that it will be a member of Eagles for Children for the 2021 season.

Eagles for Children has been around for the last 10 years and raises money to help children facing economic challenges.

Each club member pledges a minimum of $2 for every eagle made on the golf course by a fellow member. The club is the 17th to join Eagles for Children and first to sign on in Northern Michigan.

“It really is infectious because it is so easy, it is so powerful,” said Don Kegley, co-founder of Children for Eagles. “These are clubs looking outside their gates, outside their fences and seeing they can help and I’m just so proud of what Traverse City Golf and Country Club is doing with the program.”

Eagles for Children has raised more than $2.8 million for charity.
