A Howard City man has been charged with dealing meth following a traffic stop in Otsego County last week.
Michigan State Police arrested 56-year-old Nile Scott Hamp after a traffic stop on US-27 in Bagley Township around 1:20 a.m. Friday, June 18. Hamp was a passenger in the vehicle, and following a search by police of Hamp and the area he was seated in, approximately 26 grams of suspected methamphetamine was recovered.
Hamp was placed under arrest and lodged in the Otsego County Jail. His next court appearance is scheduled for June 24.
