Michigan Health Officials Report 162 New Coronavirus Cases, 14 Deaths

Michigan health officials are reporting 162 new cases of the coronavirus, and 14 additional deaths.

In total, Michigan has had 893,164 confirmed coronavirus cases and 19,612 total confirmed covid-related deaths.

As of Friday, 4,926,697 Michiganders ages sixteen and older have received at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine.

Across the entire state of Michigan, 8,830,169 doses of the vaccine have been administered as of June 17.

Additionally, as of June 11, the MDHHS reports that 852,204 Michiganders have recovered from the virus.

According to the MDHHS, coronavirus data will no longer be updated on Saturdays and Sundays. They say the next update will occur on Monday.
