Michigan health officials are reporting 172 new coronavirus cases, and 20 additional deaths.
However, the MDHHS reports that 18 of those deaths were identified during a review of vital records.
In total, Michigan has had 893,002 confirmed cases of the virus, and 19,598 total-confirmed covid-related deaths.
As of June 17, 4,926,277 Michiganders ages 16 and older have received one dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
Additionally, the MDHHS reports that as of June 11, 852,204 Michiganders have recovered from the virus.
