June is Men’s Health Month and on ‘the four’ we have been looking at ways men can be more proactive with their health.
While we often we think of our physical health but it also includes mental well-being.
According to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, men died of suicide at almost 4 times more than the rate of women in 2019. Per Mental Health America, 6 million men are affected by depression in the U.S. each year.
Men’s behavioral health is a significant issue. Men also have had a resistance to access medicine for behavioral health in particular.
