The Veterans Administration wants to make sure as many of our nation’s heroes know about the benefits they’re entitled to receive.
The V.A. will be holding a virtual enrollment tomorrow for the Saginaw- based Aleda E. Lutz Medical Center that serves veterans from mid-Michigan to the Mackinac Bridge.
There are also several outpatient clinics in Northern Michigan where they can receive outpatient care. Many times veterans aren’t aware of the health benefits they can get from the V.A. The administration is working to fix that.
“There’s many different types of benefits veterans are entitled to and unless they enquire, they may not know. So, we’re trying to get the word out there, hosting these events and hopefully bring some veterans into the system,” said Linsey DuRussel of the Veterans Benefits Administration
There will be two virtual sessions Wednesday, June 16th. The first one is at noon and second one is at 3 P.M.
