Adopt-A-Pet Tuesday: Honeybell, Lucy & Leta

It’s Adopt-A-Pet Tuesday on Michigan This Morning!

This week we have Honeybell, Lucy and Leta—just three of Northern Michigan’s many great, adoptable animals waiting for a loving family to take them home.

First up, meet Honeybell. She’s an American Staffordshire terrier mix.

She’s extremely sweet and loves to smile.

Honeybell likes to make new friends but can be shy and nervous at first.

She thinks she’s a lap dog and likes to snuggle.

You can meet Honeybell at the Cherryland Humane Society in Traverse City.

Next up, meet a border collie and shepherd mix named Lucy.

She’s two years old and very energetic.

Lucy has never lived indoors and would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard.

She’s known to chase motorcycles and cats.

You can find Lucy at Great Lakes Humane Society in Traverse City.

Lastly, meet a cat named Leta. She’s a domestic shorthair mix.

Leta is curious and likes to watch birds and squirrels out the window.

She also enjoys getting attention, and if she’s not getting any she will talk to you until she does.

Leta is believed to be around one to two years old.

You can meet her at the Lake County Animal Control in Baldwin.

Tune in to MTM each Tuesday at 5:20 a.m. and 8:50 a.m. for more lovable Northern Michigan pets in search of families of their own!
