Fresh Coast Market in Traverse City is celebrating after receiving a prestigious national award.
Last week, Fresh Coast Market received the Boar’s Head Market of Distinction Award.
For months, the Boar’s Head brand, a premier meat, cheese and fine crafted foods provided, had been sending secret shoppers into the market.
Fresh Coast Market was nominated and won the Market of Distinction Award, becoming the third market in the Midwest to win.
They say this award validates all the hard work they have put into their market.
“We have been working so hard over the last four years to really, you know we’ve really invested hundreds of thousands of dollars into this market to make it a world class market to this is the market that everyone is talking about in Northern Michigan. It just means the world, it validates all the hard work that we put in,” said —-.
Next month, Fresh Coast Market will be holding two community celebrations on July 22 and July 23.
