Westminster Dog Show Held Outside NYC for First Time In 145 Years

The Westminster Kennel Club dog show will be held outside New York City for the first time in 145 years.

This weekend, the canine competition will be held on the grounds of a riverfront mansion in Tarrytown, New York.

The Westminster show would normally be held in Madison Square Garden in Manhattan.

Because of the pandemic, the show was rescheduled from its usual dates in February and will not have in-person spectators.

Human contestants must be vaccinated or have a negative COVID-19 test before the contest.
