Lake County Modelers and Flyers Association Holding Spring Fling In Baldwin

If you’re looking for something fun to do Saturday, look no further than the skies over Baldwin.

The Lake County Modelers and Flyers Association is holding their “Spring Fling.”

These models are no toys though, with some reaching speeds of 200 miles per hour.

And with more than 100 planes expected, the skies should be buzzing for hours.

“We’ll have planes flying in there at all times,” said Len Todd, President of the Lake County Modelers and Flyers Association. “There is a world class pilot here, world champion pilot he puts on a tremendous show. You will never see an RC jet do anything like what we’ve got the capability to do out here.”

The show will go on from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Baldwin Airport just a mile South of town.
