Groups In Senate, House Collaborate On Infrastructure Proposals

On Capitol Hill, a bipartisan group of senators is working on a new infrastructure proposal.

Meanwhile, lawmakers in the House are working on their own proposal.

The House Problem-Solvers Caucus announced a trillion dollar infrastructure framework that includes billions of dollars for roads, bridges and ports.

It would also fund green energy sources for the electric grid and nuclear energy.

The House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee began working on its “Invest In America Act.”

The bill includes $550 billion in funding for roads, bridges, railways and climate change.
