Crash On M-115 In Cadillac Kills Driver, Injures Passenger
UPDATE 8:15 a.m. – Police release name of driver killed in accident
One person is dead and another is in the hospital after a crash near Cadillac in Wexford County.
It happened late Wednesday night around 10 p.m.
Michigan state police say the driver, 37-year-old Larry Nix from Louisiana, was driving well over the speed limit when he lost control and rolled the car several times.
They say he was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the car. Nix died at the scene.
The 35-year-old man riding with Nix was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
State police are asking anyone who has information on the crash or may have witnessed it to call them.
