Michigan health officials are reporting 257 new cases of the coronavirus, and seven additional deaths.
Overall, the state has had 891,314 total cases of the coronavirus, and 19,439 total covid-related deaths.
As of June 5, 837,864 Michiganders have been reported to have recovered from the virus.
Additionally, as of June 8, 4,840,179 Michiganders aged sixteen and up have received at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
In total, the MDHHS reports that 8,558,842 doses of the vaccine have been administered across the state so far.
