The Wexford-Osceola Habitat for Humanity just received a donation to make improvements at homes in the area.
The program is known as ‘A Brush with Kindness.’
The $25,000 donation from TCF Bank will be used to help with things like window replacement, painting and landscaping.
There are certain requirements to be eligible, and habitat for humanity says these changes go a long way for homeowners
“It just gives them pride in their home. We worked on a project last month where a woman had not been able to leave her house for a doctor’s appointment because he front porch was dangerous, We went down there and the smile she had for us when we were done with that project was just priceless,” said Executive Director Amy Gibbs.
