On Memorial Day, we remember all the lives that were lost fighting for our freedom.
The Gaylord community is coming together to honor those lives.
will be leading a parade through downtown that starts at 10 a.m. on Monday.
Following the parade, they will host a flag folding ceremony at the Otsego County War Memorial.
The Elks in Gaylord will also be hosting a grill out for others to join in on.
Each year, the VFW places flags on the graves of veterans as a way to honor their lives.
Our On The Road Crew, Gabriella and Stephanie, give us a look at all the flags they put out and are talking to local veterans about what this day means for them.
