Johnson & Johnson Takes Ovarian Cancer Lawsuit to Supreme Court

Johnson & Johnson is asking the Supreme Court to overturn a $2 billion ruling against them.

A lower court found in favor of women who claim they developed ovarian cancer after using the company’s talcum powder.

Former independent legal counsel Kenneth Starr, head of the Whitewater investigation during the Clinton presidency, is representing the women.

Big business groups are backing Johnson & Johnson in their bid to overturn the ruling.

The Supreme Court could announce its decision to hear the case as early as Tuesday.
