The New York attorney general’s investigation into the Trump Organization now includes a criminal probe.

On Tuesday, the attorney general’s office announced the civil probe has progressed to a criminal investigation.

They’re looking into whether the Trump Organization falsely reported the values of various properties to secure loans and lower its tax liability.

The claim was brought to the prosecutor’s attention by Donald Trump’s former personal lawyer, Michael Cohen.

The Trump Organization has yet to comment on the investigation, but former President Trump has repeatedly said the civil investigation was politically motivated.
