Group Pushes to Place Gray Wolves back on Endangered Species List

A group of more than 100 scientists are making a push to put gray wolves back on the endangered species list.

The group says the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has allowed too many wolves to be killed since lifting protections on the animal.

The protections were lifted in most states in January as one of the last moves President Donald Trump made before leaving office.

Livestock farmers and ranchers say the wolf population is actually too high and threatens their livestock.
