Ohio’s Republican Governor Mike DeWine is offering some unique incentives for people to get vaccinated.
Ohio will offer drawings for college scholarships and a weekly $1 million lottery prize.
DeWine also announced that all coronavirus restrictions in the state will be lifted on June 2.
He says the vaccines are available and effective enough to end the state’s health orders.
With only three weeks until those orders are lifted, Ohio’s big incentives show that vaccine hesitancy remains an issue.
