CDC Votes to Recommend Pfizer Vaccine for Children as Young as 12
Later today the Center for Disease Control and Prevention committee will vote on Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine being recommended for children as young as 12 years old.
Seventeen million children could start getting vaccinated towards the virus this week.
Doctors say with the hopes of vaccinating kids it can get them back in school by next fall.
The Food and Drug Administration has also authorized the age group for the Pfizer emergency shot.
